Number Plates Hull

This is what we need to see before we can make any number plate. The documents need to be the original and not photocopies.

Identity documents:

You can use one of the following to confirm your name and address:

Driving licence

Utility, Council Tax or rates bill from the last 6 months

Bank or building society statement from the last 6 months

National identity card

Proving you can use the registration number

You must bring one of the following to show you’re allowed to display the registration number:

vehicle registration certificate (V5C or V5CNI)

green ‘new keeper’ slip from the V5C or V5CNI

certificate of entitlement (V750 or V750NI) to the number

retention document (V778)

a renewal reminder for vehicle tax or SORN (V11 or V11NI)

temporary registration certificate (V379 or V379NI)

a number plate authorisation certificate (V948) with an official stamp from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA)

an electronic number plate authorisation certificate (eV948 or eV948/2)

a letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the registration certificate

if your fleet is in the new V5C on demand scheme (also called ‘V5C suppression’), a PDF of the vehicle’s details from the view vehicle record service

UK trailer registration certificate (VTRC)

All our number plates are 100% road legal, including our 3D/4D plates and our short number plates. As a DVLA registered number plate supplier

we can only make road legal plates, we conform to all the British Standard requirements for a number plate as well as all DVLA legislation.

We are unable to misspace or move any of the characters on your number plate, this would make the plate illegal and go against the DVLA guidlines which we adhere to.  

We make number plates while you wait, except for our 3D/4D plates.

3D/4D plates take 1 hour to make, so after seeing your docuemts and taking payment we advise collecting them in 1 hour to save you waiting around.

All other plates take up to 10 - 15 minutes to make, so it's best to wait around and browse our shop while we make them for you.

We can fit all* number plates purchased from us. Prices start from £7 per plate. (*Excludes Motorcycles)
